Beyonce Slays at NBA Contest With Gucci Bag






The action wasn’t all on the court at Los Angeles’ Staples Center Sunday night, where the hometown Clippers dueled with the Utah Jazz in a do-or-die NBA contest. 

Beyonce also scored a lot of points for her Gucci backpack. The superstar singer was a hot talking point as she looked on courtside with Jay Z and her fetching $1,790 bag at her feet. The piece is stamped with the "Modern Future" slogan that appears on a raft of Gucci goods from the most recent collection. It comes in two sizes (Beyonce appears to be carrying the larger version) and is available for preorder at Neiman Marcus.

It’s not the first time Bey has won with Gucci at a ball game. The pregnant artist looked resplendent in a $22,000 Gucci Kimono as she watched the NBA All-Star Game in February with her family. 

For the record, the Jazz move into round two of the NBA play-offs after eliminating the Clippers by the tune of 104-91.

Allman Brothers Band Detail Eight-Disc 'The Fox Box'

The Allman Brothers Band will release an eight-disc set comprising songs from their sold-out, three-night run at Atlanta's Fox Theatre in September 2004. At the time they were touring on what would turn out to be their final studio album, Hittin' the Note . The Fox Box will feature a remastered audio mix and tighter song spacing than the versions that were released at the time and were made available during subsequent shows and through their internet mail order program. "Dreams" is the only song that is repeated from the 53 tracks in the box set. It appears three times, however a different guitar soloist – Derek Trucks, Warren Haynes, Jack Pearson – is featured in each instance.
