Elton John Details Final Dates Of Las Vegas Residency -











Elton John will wrap up his Las Vegas residency The Million Dollar Piano after more than 200 shows at the Caesar's Palace Colosseum. The final fourteen performances will span April and May of 2018, with dates between now and November plus a leg between February and March of the new year also scheduled.

Tickets for the final group of performances go on sale October 22 in person or online.



Elton John began performing The Million Dollar Piano on September 28, 2011. It is his second residency at Caesar's Palace, following The Red Piano, which began in early 2004 and, though originally scheduled for only 75 shows, eventually also exceeded the 200 mark before concluding in 2009. For The Red Piano, John shared the stage with Celine Dion, who also maintained a residency at Caesar's during the period, with one of the two stars performing on nights the other rested.



The legendary rocker recently appeared on the big screen with a role in this September's spy comedy, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, alongside Colin Firth, Channing Tatum, and Taron Egerton, and he is also reportedly composing the score for a Broadway adaptation of The Devil Wears Prada.

Allman Brothers Band Detail Eight-Disc 'The Fox Box'

The Allman Brothers Band will release an eight-disc set comprising songs from their sold-out, three-night run at Atlanta's Fox Theatre in September 2004. At the time they were touring on what would turn out to be their final studio album, Hittin' the Note . The Fox Box will feature a remastered audio mix and tighter song spacing than the versions that were released at the time and were made available during subsequent shows and through their internet mail order program. "Dreams" is the only song that is repeated from the 53 tracks in the box set. It appears three times, however a different guitar soloist – Derek Trucks, Warren Haynes, Jack Pearson – is featured in each instance.
