Marcus Peters throws refereee flag into stands, fed up vs. Jets



Marcus Peters was somehow not ejected after throwing an officials' flag into the stands.



Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters was called for a foul against the officials with almost two minutes remaining in Sunday's game against the New York Jets. Peters took a referee's flag and threw it into the stands after a penalty call.

Peters was not ejected but left the field on his own accord.

Following an outpouring of tributes widow Vicky Cornell and her family have received since her husband Chris Cornell's death in May, Vicky Cornell has asked that fans submit their messages for her late husband to his official website so they may be shared. "Since my husband's tragic passing, fans from all over the world have come together to share their feelings about what Chris and his music meant to them, leaving thousands of messages of love while visiting him at Hollywood Forever and online," she wrote on Twitter.
