Raiders' Marshawn Lynch suspended one game

Marshawn Lynch has been suspended for one game after making contact with an official.  Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch has been suspended one game for unsportsmanlike conduct, the NFL announced Friday night.  Lynch was ejected from Oakland's game against the Chiefs on Thursday night after he made contact with an official. After Raiders quarterback Derek Carr was hit while going down by Kansas City's Marcus Peters, Lynch ran onto the field (he was not in on the play) and joined a scuffle. When a referee tried to restrain him, he shoved the referee, prompting a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty and the ejection.  After the game, Raiders offensive lineman Donald Penn said Lynch was trying to protect Peters, as the two both grew up in the Bay Area and have been close since Peters was young.  After the game, Lynch made headlines by watching the game from the stands and taking public transportation home.  ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that L...

Niall Horan threw his hat into the ring as the newest former-One Direction member to release a solo album. Darius Rucker unveiled his sixth solo album, and is certainly hoping for another U.S. Country number one. Gwar, meanwhile, delivered their first album since the death of founding member Dave Brockie. WWE has been forced to make some changes after a viral meningitis outbreak. WWE has been forced to dramatically alter the card for this weekend’s Tables, Ladders and Chairs pay-per-view, apparently because of a virus spreading throughout the locker room.  Justin LaBar of the  Pittsburgh Tribune-Review  reported on Wednesday that Bray Wyatt, Bo Dallas and JoJo Offerman have been out of action recently because of viral meningitis. PWInsider reports that Dallas is the only wrestler to have shown symptoms, while Wyatt and Offerman are being quarantined as a precaution. Dallas is Wyatt’s real-life brother, and Wyatt and Offerman are dating.  WWE announced Friday that medical issues have forced it to rejigger the card for Sunday’s PPV.
