It is titled Waiting on a Song and is due out June 2nd via his own Easy Eye Sound imprint. The record is the followup to 2009's Keep It Hid . The album is reported to be heavily influenced by Auerbach's current resident city, Nashville, which he describes as "a whole history of everything I love about music." A handful of Nashville veterans worked on the record, including country legend John Prine, guitarist Duane Eddy, and Johnny Cash associate David "Fergie" Ferguson. Along with the album announcement, Auerbach dropped the first single from the album "Shine On Me", which features Mark Knopfler. Watch the video below.
